Getting a piercing
We wanted to make our pricing clear and easy to understand, with no hidden costs or surprises. So we decided to create our pricing list around the premise that our pricing would include your basic jewellery - no seperating of service fees and jewellery pricing. The price you see on our price list includes high-quality, verified implant-grade, internally threaded ASTM F136 titanium jewellery. If you’d like something a little more special, jewellery upgrades are available from $15 per piercing. Our listed piercings start from $90 - please see below! We worked hard to keep our prices as accessible as possible by keeping our basic jewellery more affordable. Some pieces cost us a little more, though, as they may include multiple components that we need to purchase separately - hence the scale in our pricing list.
We accept both walk-in and pre-booked appointments! If you are on a time crunch, have a specific time in mind, are coming as a group (especially on weekends) or are wanting to get your children's ears pierced (5 - 10 years) we would recommend booking ahead of time.
Currently, we do not accept cash. We do accept multiple card-pay options - including Afterpay!

It's lightweight, durable and nickel-free — perfect for healing new piercings. Our 14K gold jewellery is made specifically for body piercing and is suitable for fresh piercings. It's durable, beautiful and available in a range of gorgeous finishes.
You’re welcome to bring your own jewellery for us to assess for a change, but we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to use it. We’ll check the size, style, quality and material first. For initial piercings, we only use jewellery from our selection. We pierce with only verified titanium, gold, glass and niobium to ensure your jewellery is appropriate for healing. Personal jewellery including gold from jewellers, can be absolutely beautiful, but isn’t always suitable for fresh piercings. We want you to have the best experience and for your piercings to heal well. You will likely be able to wear that piece once the piercing is fully healed. If you would like us to plan around the piece, we recommend you bring the jewellery in with you for your appointment so that we can plan placement and size.
We know piercing guns are something many of us grew up with, but they’re not the method we choose at Solace. We use single-use, sterile needles, designed for the sole purpose of piercing because they allow us to create a precise opening with more control over placement, angle and jewellery fit.Piercing guns (and hand-pressurised devices) use blunt force to push jewellery through the tissue, which can cause more trauma and swelling. The jewellery used with guns can also be difficult to properly clean and are not designed with healing piercings in mind. For us, it comes down to giving you the safest, cleanest and most comfortable experience possible - and a sterile needle is the method we trust. (we promise it is not as scary as you think it is)
Not at this stage. Body piercing is what we are passionate about and focused on. We would love to expand in the future and offer pop-ups and collaborations with tattoo artists we love. In the meantime, when you come into the studio, you're welcome to describe the vibe you like, and we will try our best to recommend an artist to you that we love!
